Who Are Armenia's Best Athletes of 2024

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia conducted the "Selection of the Best in Sports" contest on December 24, with nineteen sports journalists participating in the voting. According to the new regulations, only sports journalists are allowed to vote this year.

The top three athletes in Armenia are Varazdat Lalayan, Arthur Davtyan, and Arthur Aleksanyan. The best female athlete is Aleksandra Grigoryan. The best athlete with disabilities is Greta Vardanyan. The best team is the men's chess team of Armenia, recognized by FIDE. The best young athlete is Emma Poghosyan. The winner of the "Return to Big Sports" category is Hripsime Khurshudyan. The athlete who has best promoted Armenia is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The best coach is Hakob Serobyan.

The name of the athlete who has won the audience's affection will be announced at 17:00 Yerevan time.
