Additional Certification Criteria for Taxi Services

The Yerevan municipality has announced that the city council has established additional certification criteria for organizations and individuals providing taxi services in Yerevan.

"In particular, the criteria will take into account the year of vehicle operation, any administrative violations committed last year, the driver's completion of medical examination, as well as whether the vehicle operates on hybrid or electric engines. Through certification, the Yerevan municipality aims to improve the quality of taxi services. The certification process is purely voluntary," the statement said.
