KamAZ Overturns on Yerevan-Meghri Road, One Fatality

On December 18, at 02:38 AM, the emergency services in the Vayots Dzor region received a call informing them of a traffic accident on the road segment from Yeghegnadzor to Areni, where there is a fatality. This was reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

It was noted that a firefighting-rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It became clear that at the 107th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri motorway, a KamAZ truck (driver A. M., born in 1974) had overturned, resulting in the driver’s death. The rescuers have disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
