Trump Does Not Invite Volodymyr Zelensky to His Inauguration

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has not invited Volodymyr Zelensky to his inauguration, which is set to take place on January 20, 2025. Trump made this announcement during his first press conference after winning the November elections, held at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

“No, I have not invited Zelensky,” Trump said in response to a relevant question from a reporter. At the same time, he noted that if Zelensky wishes to attend the event, he is welcome to come.

The Republican also expressed doubts about the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping at the inauguration. Previously, Trump had stated that he intends to reach out to Russian President Vladimir Putin to cease the conflict in Ukraine. The politician added that he and his team plan to negotiate with Zelensky and representatives of the Ukrainian side as well.
