The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has confirmed that there are nuclear weapons in Belarus. “I have imported nuclear warheads here. They are more than ten in number. Many write, ‘This is a joke, no one has brought anything.’ We have imported them. They didn't even notice how we brought them here,” said the Belarusian leader.

Alexander Lukashenko made this statement while responding to questions about the plans to deploy the Russian 'Oreshnik' missile system in Belarus, which is not nuclear but has significant power. “If nuclear weapons are used, it is a great responsibility; in any case, no one has pressed the nuclear button since Hiroshima and Nagasaki, let alone regarding Belarus. But I have warned all my enemies, ‘friends,’ and competitors: if you just step on the state border line, the response will be instant,” he noted.
