Golan Heights Will Remain Under Israeli Control Forever: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that the Golan Heights will remain under Israeli control forever. The politician's statement was reported by TASS.

It has already been communicated that Syria intends to notify the UN Security Council about Israel's violation of the Republic's sovereignty in connection with attacks on Damascus and the actions of Israeli soldiers in the Golan Heights.

“First, this is a clear violation of the 1974 separation of forces agreement, and second, it is a new violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity,” said Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh.

“The second issue is that this relates not only to the Golan Heights but also to airstrikes. Yesterday, numerous facilities in Damascus came under fire around noon. Today, I spoke with our permanent representative to the UN and requested to raise this issue,” he added.
