Syrian Opposition Guarantees Safety of Diplomatic Missions in Damascus

The Syrian armed opposition has provided security assurances for foreign diplomatic missions that have come under its control in Damascus. This was reported to TASS by diplomatic sources from two Arab countries.

“The opposition leadership has guaranteed the safety of foreign diplomatic missions; currently, embassies maintain their inviolability status, but the situation in Syria is changing rapidly,” one of the agency's interlocutors said.
