Thief in Law 'Shahumyan's Jiro' Released from Custody: Details
Recently arrested 'Thief in Law' known as 'Shahumyan's Jiro', Jirayr Brutyan, has been released from custody. This was reported by the Investigative Committee to 'Pahstinfo'.
On December 2nd, special forces of the police forcibly detained 'Shahumyan's Jiro', laying him on the ground, along with his accompanying individuals. The latter were arrested and presented to the preliminary investigation body within the framework of a criminal case regarding group hooliganism and were detained on the grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the described act.
The Investigative Committee has stated that after the arrest, these individuals have been released and, at this time, no criminal prosecution has been initiated against anyone in connection with this case.
As for the criminal authority Artem Harutyunov, known as 'Artem Kanevskoy', who was detained on December 6, the Committee mentioned that three individuals have been presented to the relevant division. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 297, Part 2, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code. A decision has been made to detain these three individuals based on the immediate reasonable suspicion of committing hooliganism in a group. The investigation is ongoing,” the Investigative Committee stated.
