Iraq to Organize International Meeting on Syria

Baghdad will initiate hosting a meeting of several countries to discuss the situation prevailing in Syria.

This was announced by Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein during a joint press conference in the capital with his Syrian and Iranian counterparts. According to TASS, he stated, "We emphasize our support for the Syrian people by sending humanitarian aid, and Baghdad will also take the initiative to hold a meeting of several countries to discuss the Syrian issue."
