Pashinyan Presents Candidates for Gyumri Mayor

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced the names of the candidates for the position of Acting Mayor of Gyumri, participating in the preliminary elections.
Said Pashinyan: “Dear Gyumri residents, based on the decision of the Political Council of the Civil Contract party, the following candidates will participate in the preliminary elections for the Mayor of Gyumri:

• Levon Ananyan
• Davit Arushanyan
• Shavarsh Aramyan
• Emma Barseghyan
• Sarik Minasyan
• Vahagn Mkrtchyan
• Karen Sarukhanyan

They can start campaigning from today, and the preliminary voting will take place on December 8, 9, and 10. The candidate who receives the most votes in the preliminary voting will be appointed as the Acting Mayor of Gyumri. I will provide additional information regarding the voting procedure,” the statement reads.
