Kostanyan Explains Why 18 Drivers Were Dismissed

The press secretary of the Yerevan mayor, Hayk Kostanyan, has clarified why 18 drivers were dismissed. He stated, "I inform you that the basis for the dismissal of 18 drivers is the following: Article 113 and Article 122 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, which stipulate that the employer has the right to terminate the employment contract with an employee who has lost trust if the employee has committed an act that has caused or could cause material damage to the employer. In the cases provided for by the mentioned basis, the employer is entitled to terminate the employment contract without notifying the employee."

It is noted that 18 drivers from the 'Yerevan Bus' LLC were dismissed today.
