Casualties and Injured in Road Accident on Ejmiadzin-Ararat Highway

On December 2, at 15:39, the crisis management center of the Rescue Service of the Armavir region received a call about a traffic accident at the beginning of the village of Arshalouis, indicating that there were trapped citizens. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

Two fire-rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that at the 5th kilometer of the Ejmiadzin-Ararat highway, a collision occurred between an "Opel" vehicle (driver: M. T., born in 1960) and a "Toyota" vehicle (driver: A. H., born in 2003).

Before the rescuers arrived, the injured, J. S. (born in 2009), L. M. (born in 1977), and G. T. (born in 2007) were taken to a medical center.

The rescuers managed to extract M. T. from the vehicle, but the doctors confirmed his death.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from the electricity, closed the gas cylinder valves, and provided assistance to the injured R. M. (born in 1956), V. N. (born in 2006), and the driver of the "Toyota" vehicle, who were approached by ambulance vehicles.
