Photos: Situation in Tbilisi This Morning

The Georgian police deployed water cannons during the night to disperse a protest taking place on Rustaveli Avenue, but demonstrators continue their action. As of this morning, protesters have moved from Rustaveli Avenue towards Chavchavadze Avenue, heading towards Tbilisi State University.

Participants in the rally have set fires, placed garbage bins, and blocked traffic. Photos have emerged from Rustaveli Avenue showing damaged electric scooters, broken payment terminals, burned garbage bins, and litter.
