Police Warning to Drivers
The police have issued a warning. Various certificates do not provide any privileges to drivers.
On the evening of November 26, patrol officers in the capital stopped a vehicle. During the inspection, a passenger presented red and blue identification cards to the authorities. The individual was arrested on suspicion of preparing or using counterfeit documents and was taken to the community division, while the documents were handed over to the investigative division.
This is not an isolated incident. Recently, it has been noticed that when patrol officers stop vehicles for violations, drivers attempt to avoid administrative responsibility by presenting various documents that supposedly grant them privileges.
The police warn that various certificates issued by state or other organizations do not provide any privileges to drivers. If it is found that a certificate is counterfeit, a corresponding article exists in the criminal code for such offenses.
