Armenian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has issued a statement:

“Dear media colleagues, foreign media continue to publish a number of articles that do not correspond to reality regarding the acquisition of weapons aimed at expanding the defensive capabilities of the Armed Forces of Armenia, as well as details of procurement negotiations. Such publications are also rapidly disseminated by media outlets operating in the Republic of Armenia. The Ministry of Defense, considering the importance of information security, once again urges to make appropriate verifications and clarifications with the defense department before publishing such materials,” the statement reads.
