North Korean General Injured in Ukrainian Strike: WSJ
A senior general of the Korean People's Army has been injured due to a Ukrainian strike in the Kursk region, which occurred on November 21. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing an anonymous Western official.
The source did not disclose the circumstances under which the North Korean military leader was injured, nor was the name of the affected soldier revealed.
According to WSJ, this is the first instance, according to Western authorities, of a high-ranking North Korean military official being injured during the Russo-Ukrainian war.
The North Korean representative at the UN also did not respond to inquiries from The Wall Street Journal.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian forces had attacked the Kursk region on November 20, using at least 10 long-range Storm Shadow missiles supplied by the United Kingdom.
