The outgoing administration of U.S. President Joe Biden continues to pour oil on the fire of the Ukrainian conflict, leading to a new escalation. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the President of Russia.

“A new escalation is taking place. This is a very irresponsible position adopted by the outgoing U.S. administration. They continue to pour oil on the fire of the Ukrainian conflict, preventing any meaningful dynamics towards its resolution. At the same time, they are using Ukraine as a tool in their hands,” he told reporters in response to questions regarding the alleged use of 'Storm Shadow' missiles against targets in Russia.
