Car Accident on Artik-Pemzashen Road Leaves Injured and Fatalities

On November 17, at 22:05, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue administration received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Artik-Pemzashen highway, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene from the regional rescue administration.

According to the reports, it was determined that vehicles of the brands "GAZ" (driver: A.G., born in 1973) and "Opel" (driver: A.H., born in 2007) collided at the 8th km of the Artik-Pemzashen road.

Before the rescuers arrived, the passenger of the "Opel," S.N., and the passenger of the "GAZ," Z.S. (born in 1981), were transferred to medical centers. Rescuers managed to extract the drivers and passenger R.Sh. (born in 1984) from the vehicles and bring them closer to the ambulance. The injured were hospitalized in medical centers, where the death of A.H. was registered.

Rescuers secured the area, disabled the vehicles, and shut off the valves of the gas cylinders.
