Russia Strikes Ukraine with Drones
On the night of November 13, Russia launched drone and missile strikes against Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and the Kyiv region, according to Ukrainian officials.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported explosions heard around 7:20 AM and indicated active operation of air defense systems, as noted by kyivindependent.com.
A 48-year-old man suffered head injuries from debris in the Kyiv region. A fire also broke out in the Brovary neighborhood near Kyiv.
Authorities revealed that Russia targeted Kyiv with cruise missiles, as well as with Iskander-M or North Korean KN-23/24 ballistic missiles, and Shahed and Geran attack drones.
Reports state that Ukraine's air defense intercepted “several cruise and ballistic missiles and up to 10 drones.”
