VIDEO: Israel Strikes Residential High-Rise, Casualties Reported in Damascus
As a result of Israeli airstrikes in the southeastern Sayyidah Zaynab suburb of Damascus, 6 people have been killed and at least 15 others injured, according to reports from Sham FM radio station. The missiles targeted a residential high-rise building.
Media reports indicate that the number of injured has risen to 25. Earlier, the Al Hadath television channel, which broadcasts from Dubai, reported 3 fatalities. According to the same source, all casualties are members of the Hezbollah Shiite militant group, fighting alongside the Syrian army.
On November 4, Israeli aircraft struck a Hezbollah camp located in the same suburb of Al Mazari in Damascus, resulting in the deaths of 7 group members, with reports of additional injuries at that time.
