Trump Leads in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina
Republican candidate Donald Trump is leading in three battleground states: Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes), Georgia (16), and North Carolina (16).
In Pennsylvania, with 51% of votes counted, Trump has garnered 50.7%, while Kamala Harris follows with 48.4%. In Georgia, where 82% of votes have been processed, Trump holds 51.9% and Harris has 47.4%.
The situation in the remaining battleground states as of 07:20 Yerevan time is as follows:
- Michigan: 19.8% of votes processed, Harris at 50.1%, Trump at 48.2%.
- Wisconsin: 47.2% of votes processed, Trump at 49.6%, Harris at 48.9% (approximately a 12,000 vote difference).
- Arizona: 47.8% of votes processed, Harris at 50%, Trump at 49.2%.
- Nevada - no results yet.
To win, a candidate must accumulate at least 270 electoral votes. At the time of this report, according to Bloomberg's calculations, Trump has 198 electoral votes, while Harris has 112. According to Fox projections (which support Republicans), Trump is expected to secure 205 electoral votes in states where voting outcomes are predictable, with Harris receiving 117.
At 08:00 Yerevan time, polling places will close in four more states, including California, Oregon, and Washington, which traditionally vote for Democrats. There, Harris could obtain 74 electoral votes. It is expected that the fourth state, Idaho, will vote in favor of Trump, adding another four electoral votes for him, reports CNN.
