Number of Casualties Rises After Earthquake in Iran

Today, the number of casualties following an earthquake in the northern city of Garmsar, Iran, has risen to 24, according to Tasnim news agency.

The earthquake, which struck Garmsar with a magnitude of 4.8, resulted in 18 injured individuals being transported to hospitals for further treatment, while the rest received on-site medical assistance.

The quake occurred at approximately 05:16 local time, with the epicenter located 11 kilometers deep near the city of Garmsar.
