VIDEO: Julieta Avanesyan Becomes European Champion

Member of the Armenian youth weightlifting team, Julieta Avanesyan, has been crowned the champion of the M20 European Weightlifting Championship. She won a gold medal in the women's +87 kg category at the ongoing M20 and M23 European Championship in Poland.

Julieta Avanesyan achieved a total lift of 235 kg (108 kg in the snatch and 127 kg in the clean and jerk). Additionally, she received small gold medals in both the snatch and clean and jerk categories.
