Man Reveals Naked on Facebook Threatened with $3,500 Demands
The Armenian Police's Tavush Regional Division in Ijevan has received a report from a resident of Tavush, Volodya M., who claims he is being extorted for money through Facebook. This has been reported by Aravot.am.
The citizen stated that he became acquainted with a user named Nadia Madoyan via the social network, and during a four-day intimate online communication, he exposed himself during a video call. The perpetrator is now threatening him with the video footage, initially demanding $3,500, and after realizing he wouldn't pay, currently asking for $500, threatening to publish the material otherwise.
Measures are being taken to identify the individual responsible for the crime. The Investigative Committee informed Auroranews that a criminal case has been initiated based on extortion.
