We Have Inflicted Serious Damage on Them: Netanyahu

Israel has succeeded in causing significant damage to Iran's defense systems and missile production facilities. This statement was made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the opening of the Knesset's (parliament) winter session.

"We have inflicted serious damage on Iran's defense systems and its ability to produce missiles, we have attacked industrial plants and dealt real damage to them," Netanyahu said.

According to him, "Israel's long-term strategy is to dismantle the core of Iranian evil" and to "prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons." The Prime Minister's speech was broadcast on the Knesset's website.

On October 26, the Israel Defense Forces announced that strikes were being carried out on military facilities within Iran in response to "numerous ongoing attacks." According to Iran's air defense forces, military facilities in Ilam, Tehran, and Khuzestan provinces were hit, but the damage was limited.

Earlier, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, promised that Israel would face "unimaginable consequences" for striking the territory of the Republic.
