Georgian Opposition: No Intent to Negotiate with Authorities
The Georgian opposition has announced that it has no intention of negotiating with the authorities on any matters other than conducting new elections. This information comes from local media.
As previously reported, the Georgian opposition is demanding the holding of repeat parliamentary elections. This was stated by MP and representative of the "Unity-National Movement" association, Giorgi Vashadze, during a rally in Tbilisi.
"Our demand is for new elections, but only if they are conducted by an international electoral authority," Vashadze stated, addressing the protesters who were against the results of the vote.
It was recently revealed that the Georgian "Unity-National Movement" party is refusing to accept parliamentary mandates.
