Russian Forces Encircle 2,000 Ukrainian Personnel, Says Putin
Russian forces have encircled approximately 2,000 personnel from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region, covering an area of about 6 x 15 kilometers. This information was provided by Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, as reported by TASS.
According to Putin, the Russian military has "created a fairly reliable encirclement ring and is now tightening that ring and starting to eliminate this group of Ukrainian Armed Forces." He stated, "By our rough calculations, this area is indeed approximately 6 x 15 kilometers, and there are about 2,000 people there."
