Levon Ter-Petrosyan Meets with French Ambassador at His Residence in Armenia

On October 24, Armenia's first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Armenia, Mr. Olivier Decottignies, at his residence.

At the ambassador's request, the president addressed Armenia's internal and external political issues. He also expressed gratitude for the sincere and principled support demonstrated by the French government in light of the current challenging situation in our country.

Referring to the warm feelings of friendship held by the French government and people towards Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan particularly highlighted the poignant and symbolic state ceremonies of the burial of Charles Aznavour and the burial of Misak and Meline Manouchian in the Panthéon.

Present at the meeting was the director of Levon Ter-Petrosyan's office, Avetis Avagyan.
