What Will Putin and Palestinian Leader Discuss in Kazan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas will meet in Kazan to discuss how to quickly halt the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip. This information is presented in materials prepared by the Russian leader's press service for the BRICS summit.

“An exchange of ideas is expected regarding possible measures to rapidly cease the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip and to resume the peace process for Middle Eastern settlement,” the press service notes.

The conversation between Putin and Abbas is scheduled for October 24. According to the press service of the Russian President, the leaders will continue the dialogue that started in Moscow in August on current issues of bilateral cooperation.
