Video: Shant Khachatryan Reaches Final with Stellar Victory

Armenian representative Shant Khachatryan will compete for the title at the World Wrestling Championships for U23 in Greco-Roman style, being held in Tirana, Albania. In the semifinals of the 72 kg weight category, he won 9:0 against Swedish wrestler Georgios Barbano.

In the qualifying round, Shant Khachatryan had a decisive 10:0 victory over Swiss wrestler Michael Portmann. In the round of 16, he defeated Japanese competitor Kensaku Onoy, also with a score of 9:0, and in the quarterfinals, he again showcased his skills with a 9:0 win over Iranian Seyyed Sohrabi.

In the final, Shant Khachatryan's opponent will be Georgian wrestler Giorgi Chkhikvadze.
