Video: Foreigner Woman Importing and Selling Drugs in Armenia
Information received by the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was about a foreign woman. According to the information, the woman was importing various types of drugs into Armenia and was organizing their sale via the internet.
“As a result of extensive and diverse operational and investigative measures taken by the officers of the Criminal Police Department, the woman’s identity was established, and her place of residence was also verified,” said Senior Operative Officer David Petrosyan.
A criminal case was initiated in the Shengavit Investigative Division. On October 18, a search was carried out at the residence of the 27-year-old woman based on a court decision. “The search resulted in the discovery of four electronic scales, about 97 grams of Alpha-PVP type drugs, and a total of 74 packets weighing a total of 145 grams of mephedrone, which was intended to be placed in various locations,” David Petrosyan announced.
The 27-year-old woman has been arrested and presented to the Shengavit Investigative Division. The investigation is ongoing.
