VIDEO: Residents of Getk Village Gift Portrait of Pashinyan

The working visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the Shirak province continues. The Prime Minister had a brief conversation with the residents of Getk village, which he shared on Facebook.

One of the villagers pointed out that one of the main issues in the village is the lack of gas supply. “We are so close to the city of Gyumri, yet we do not have gas,” he said.

The governor of Shirak assured that a gas pipeline is currently under construction and the internal network will be ready by 2026.

The villagers also raised concerns about water supply and the absence of a kindergarten. One woman said, “From the very beginning of the revolution, Getk has been with you. You were not yet Prime Minister, and Samvel Harutyunyan painted your portrait, and I want to give that to you.” She then took the portrait out of a bag and presented it to Pashinyan.
