Russia is ready to continue the fight. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin while commenting on the course of the military special operation.

“Ask the NATO members when they will tire of waging war against us. We are ready to continue that fight,” said Putin.

He emphasized that NATO is fighting against Russia, but with Ukrainian soldiers, and that Ukraine does not spare its troops for the benefit of third countries. Putin added that Russia's quest for a peaceful resolution in Ukraine is driven by concern for its soldiers.

He referred to the draft of a document developed during the Istanbul negotiation process on Ukraine as a basis for negotiations. “Everyone calls on us to negotiate, while nobody pays attention to the fact that the Ukrainian side has barred itself from negotiations—that's just ridiculous. But the most important thing is the basis, that is, the draft of the document developed during the Istanbul negotiation process,” said Putin during the meeting.

Today, the Russian president is holding a meeting with leaders of major media outlets from BRICS participant countries. The event is represented by Dmitry Kiselev, the director general of the Russia Today media group.
