Protest: Demand for the Release of Armenian Prisoners of War Held in Baku

The Ombudsman of Artsakh, Gegham Stepanyan, has initiated a protest with the participation of former Ombudsmen Yuri Hayrapetyan, Ruben Melikyan, Artak Beglaryan, as well as former Armenian Human Rights Defenders Arman Tatoyan and Larisa Alaverdyan. They will be delivering letters demanding the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war and captives unlawfully held in Azerbaijan to the UN office in Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and the embassies of the Russian Federation, the French Republic, and the United States in Armenia.

Citizens have gathered in front of the UN office in Armenia, raising their voices in protest for the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war and captives unlawfully held in Azerbaijan.
