Is a Meeting of the Leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia Being Planned?
Mariam Z.
The presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia—Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev, and Nikol Pashinyan—do not currently plan to hold a trilateral meeting to resolve the conflict between Baku and Yerevan.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Russia has no objection to such a format: "No, there have been no agreements on a trilateral meeting," he said in response to a relevant question. "There was such an idea, but it has not been supported by anyone."
It is noteworthy that today in Moscow, Putin has already met with Ilham Aliyev, and later he is expected to also meet with Nikol Pashinyan.
