A Man Dies from a Tree Branch Strike in Vayots Dzor

On October 2, at 10:13 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Service received a report that a tree branch had broken and fallen on a citizen near the intersection leading to Jermuk.

A firefighting-rescue unit from the National Emergency Management Agency was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that while carrying out pruning work near the 147th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a tree branch had broken and fallen on citizen S. Gh. (born in 1954), who died on the spot.

The rescuers moved the citizen's body closer to the vehicle designated for transporting the deceased.
