"Wait for an answer": Iran's statement

Iran will unequivocally respond to the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This was stated by the Chief Commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdulrahim Mousavi, as reported by Mehr.

“Wait for an answer,” he said while commenting on the issue of Iran's potential response to the Israeli strikes in Beirut. Mousavi added that “the blood of martyr Nasrallah will accelerate the downfall of the Israeli regime and its leaders.”

Additionally, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced the previous day that “the crimes of the Zionist regime cannot be acceptable and will not go unanswered.”

It should be noted that on September 28, Hezbollah officially confirmed the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah. He was killed by anti-bunker bombs used by Israeli soldiers.
