Video: Armed Man Hijacks Bus in Los Angeles, Takes Passengers Hostage

An armed man hijacked a bus in Los Angeles. The city’s police confirmed to Fox News that the suspect shot a passenger on the bus. As a result, the man was successfully apprehended.

According to reports from Newsweek and The Telegraph, an unknown individual took hostages among the bus passengers on the morning of September 25. Police officers chased the speeding bus in downtown Los Angeles.

The hijacker, armed during the incident, engaged in a shootout with police. The Telegraph reported that the suspect took at least one person hostage, while Newsweek noted multiple hostages.

Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News that the suspect shot a bus passenger before hijacking the vehicle, leading to a chase that lasted over an hour before the eventual arrest of the perpetrator.
