Protest in Paris Against Macron and His Government

Thousands of people have protested in Paris against President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Michel Barnier's government. The event was organized by leftist parties and youth movements.

Some participants shouted, 'Macron, resign!' They expressed dissatisfaction with the appointment of a Prime Minister from the Republican party, which performed poorly in the parliamentary elections.

The Paris prefecture claims that 3,200 people took part in the rally. Overall, about 50 protests took place across France on September 21. On September 17, the Bureau of the French National Assembly approved a proposal to initiate impeachment proceedings against Emmanuel Macron.
