What is a Hotline that HEK Can't Manage? Konyjoryan

Today, discussions on the topic of 'Existing Issues in the Electric Energy Supply Sector and Paths to Solutions' took place in the National Assembly. Hayk Konyjoryan, the head of the ruling 'Civil Contract' faction, expressed his dissatisfaction during the discussions, stating that HEK is unable to respond to emergency calls for hours:

“The results of this discussion convinced us that the issues currently present in the electric energy supply sector will not be resolved with today’s standard toolkit. But in reality, the citizens of Armenia are not interested in that. You say that HEK has made $690 million in investments over the past 6-7 years, but the situation has worsened. If it had at least remained the same, we could have said, 'yes.' I don’t want us to gather again in a few years and talk about the same things, saying that HEK made an additional half a million dollar investment, but the situation has deteriorated even further. What is one hotline that HEK cannot manage over 6, 7, or 8 years? People wait 45 minutes, 50 minutes, sometimes an hour and cannot manage their lives. The electricity was cut off, but no one answers the citizen's calls. People incur numerous losses—from ordinary subscribers to entrepreneurs,” Hayk Konyjoryan noted.
