VIDEO: Attempt to Seize Wildberries Office in Moscow

Gunshots were reported today at the Wildberries headquarters in Moscow, with the number of injured reaching eight during the conflict. One person has died, TASS reports.

The shooting reportedly began around 12:25 PM and lasted for about three minutes. A fire alarm was subsequently triggered, and the National Guard arrived at the scene immediately. Employees of the office were evacuated.

At 12:40 PM, representatives from Wildberries announced that a former spouse of the company's CEO, Tatyana Bakalchuk, Vladislav Bakalchuk, attempted to illegally enter the company’s office. “A few minutes later, police detained about ten individuals. Vladislav Bakalchuk stated that they tried to assault him and his team when they arrived for negotiations to halt the construction of company warehouses,” the statement read.

Unidentified individuals also arrived at the “Iskra Park” business center, where the ‘berry’ office is located. Tatyana Bakalchuk reported that a group of people, led by Vladislav Bakalchuk, Sergey Anufriyev, and Vladimir Bakin, attempted to seize the Wildberries offices in Moscow.

By 1:20 PM, Vladislav Bakalchuk left the Wildberries headquarters under the escort of security and a lawyer. Some arrested participants involved in the conflict resisted their apprehension. During the gunfire, several individuals sustained gunshot wounds, with bullets hitting their limbs and backs. One of the injured is confirmed to have died. Among the injured are three soldiers: Abubakar Mestoyev, Umar Chichayev, and Rashid Kozyayev.

A total of approximately 30 people have been detained.
