Russia Threatens to Respond with More Powerful Weapons

Russia will respond with "more powerful weapons" if its cities are hit by missile strikes. The statement was made by Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, during his remarks ahead of the autumn session.

He emphasized that all satellite images belong to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), particularly the United States, and therefore, the guidance and execution of commands will be carried out by NATO troops. According to him, such actions would directly involve the Western military alliance in the Ukrainian conflict.

“They (the West) are discussing the possibility of striking our peaceful cities, while considering this to be out of their purview. That is not the case. We have something to respond with. More powerful weapons are ready,” Volodin stated. He highlighted that the implementation of the planned actions could lead to terrible consequences.
