Iran's President to Attend BRICS Summit

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will participate in the BRICS summit set to take place in Kazan. This information was reported by the Iranian ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, as transmitted by TASS.

“Dear Mr. Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will attend the Kazan summit,” he announced.

On September 14, it was revealed that Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will also be present at the event.

On the same day, the official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the BRICS summit, scheduled in Kazan from October 22-24, is expected to be a global sensation.
