Primorye Offers to Create Generations During Work 'Breaks'
The Minister of Health of Primorye, Evgeny Shestopalov, has called on the region's residents to give birth to as many children as possible. This was reported by FederalPress.
It is noted that from September 3 to 6, during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) held in Vladivostok, the head of the relevant department conversed with journalists from the media holding. During the interview, he stated that citizens of the Russian Federation should have as many children as God sends them.
"It is impossible to divide society into those who give birth and raise children, and those who are engaged in the economy," emphasized the minister. In his opinion, being heavily occupied at work is not a justification for refusing to have children. He highlighted that people could 'engage in the creation of generations during their breaks' amid performing their official duties.
The relevant department head also noted that if necessary, children can always be brought to work. He mentioned that he sometimes has to take his child to the office as well. "Who will forbid it if my child wants to sit in the office and draw?" the minister asked himself.
