Kremlin Responds to Erdogan
The issue of Crimea's ownership falls within the category of disagreements between the Russian Federation and Turkey. Moscow continues to explain its position on Crimea to Ankara, stated Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, commenting on the statement made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that "Crimea should be returned to Ukraine." This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“At the same time, we do not cease our targeted efforts to explain our viewpoint, our position to our Turkish friends and partners. We hope that over time, this will allow Ankara to understand us better and agree with our arguments,” Peskov told reporters.
