I Have Not Lived My Life in Vain: Margarita Simonyan on New American Sanctions

Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of the Russia Today group and RT channel, stated that she has not lived her life in vain against the backdrop of new accusations and sanctions from the United States. She made the corresponding post on her Telegram channel.

"One of the reasons why Ukraine does not enjoy such significant support in other countries is RT. State Department, I have not lived my life in vain..." she wrote.

Today, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused the RT channel of being involved in secret operations interfering in the affairs of other countries. He added that Washington is imposing sanctions on three entities and two individuals related to the accusations against the channel.
