Accident in Gegharkunik: Minibus and Car Collide, Leaving 7 Injured
Today, on September 13, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 15:25, a collision took place on the Sevan-Martuni-Getap road between a minibus, operated by 65-year-old Aivaz B. from Gegharkunik, and a Kia driven by 24-year-old Nina I. from Yerevan.
As a result of the accident, seven individuals with varying degrees of injuries were transported to the Sevan Medical Center. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed by a duty group of emergency doctors from the Sevan Medical Center, who administered first aid on-site before transferring the patients to the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Sevan Investigative Division regarding the accident, where the identities of the injured are being clarified. According to MediaHub, the seven injured individuals are currently undergoing examinations at the medical center. "All of their conditions are stable. We have no patients in life-threatening condition," officials from the Sevan Medical Center stated in a conversation with us.
