VIDEO: "Where do you want to go, hurry up and vote" - Bagratyan to Simonian
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, today made a remark to KP faction MP Sergei Bagratyan by turning off his microphone.
"I wouldn't have asked the question, but I've specifically done so because I see you're rushing us to vote quickly. We are here to work, where do you want to go, hurry up and vote: 'don’t ask questions, don’t raise your voice.'"
Alen Simonian inquired, "Mr. Bagratyan, who told you that you should be so upset?" When Bagratyan tried to respond from his seat, Simonian ordered the microphone to be turned off, saying, "You don’t need to respond to me; you spoke in your time. No one is rushing anyone." Simonian also urged not to generalize or blame anyone for rushing somewhere, stating, "I am definitely not in a hurry anywhere."
