Video: Severe Thunderstorm Turns into a Real Disaster in Izmir

A severe thunderstorm in the city of Izmir, Turkey, has turned into a real disaster. In the Menderes district, in the Bay of Maydonos, part of the road has collapsed due to heavy rain, while several vehicles have been submerged in the sea. Meanwhile, in Seferihisar, a construction retaining wall collapsed as a result of flooding, resulting in dozens of vehicles falling into the created pit.

It has been reported that numerous homes and business areas have been flooded due to torrential rains, the road has collapsed from riverbank overflow, and some vehicles have been filled with seawater. The thunderstorm, which began overnight, continued into the morning.
