VIDEO: Police Forcefully Attempt to Remove Vehicles Blockading the Road

Currently, police are negotiating with residents of Qasakh village who have blocked the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway, attempting to reopen the road. The village's administrative head has also come to negotiate with the protesters.

Residents are protesting against the head of the Nairi community, Norayr Sargsyan, who decided during a council meeting to annul a decision that would have granted residents the right to obtain construction permits for land parcels designated for village purposes.

Earlier, we reported that a protest was taking place in Qasakh community near Yerevan. The residents have blocked the Ashtarak-Yerevan highway.
